Q: How can I purchase an extra fob remote?
A: You can purchase one from the on-site manager. The cost for a two-button garage gate/fob is $85.00 which includes programming and taxes.
We also carry key chain fobs that are much smaller as they do not have the garage gate buttons. These sell for $20.00 inclusive of programming and taxes.
It is free of charge to de-activate any fob that you may have. To activate or re-activate a fob costs $25.00. A maximum of four fobs are allowed for each unit
Q: My toilet is plugged? Who do I call?
A: Internal repairs such as plugged toilets or sinks are the responsibility of the home owner. You may hire a plumber of your choice
Q: I notice large amounts of condensation on the windows and window sills, sometimes even small pools of water on the sills. What can I do to prevent that?
A: Every suite has a programable humidity fan control. This feature allows you to control the amount of humidity in your suite. The humidity level in every suite different and unique to each family's lifestyle and furnishings. If you notice unusual amounts of condensation on your windows or pooling of water on the window sills, your fan control may not be set properly. Your programable fan control is almost always located in your entry closet. The device essentially acts as an override to your bathroom fan which when turned on, removes unwanted moisture from your home.
There are three settings on the fan control unit in your entry closet: Off, On, Auto
- Off - means that there is no override controlof the bathroom fan. The switch in the bathroom controls the bathroom fan
- On - means that the batroom fan will always be on, regardless of the switch in the bathroom
- Auto - means that the fan will come On and Off as programmed by the timer. Pushing in the time tabs on the circular dial means it will make the fan come on during this time. Numerous On and Off settings can be made.
Tips:
- Some families may choose to have the control set to Off, if humidity isn't an issue in their home
- On means the fan runs constantly which is not very common in most situations
- An average fan setting for Auto mode is usually two to four hours during a time when there is no one home
- The fan may need cleaning from time to time. This task falls within the responsability of the individual owner
Q: How do I get approval for laminate flooring?
A: First you must apply in writing/e-mail to the strata council. Next you need to supply the on-site manager with a sample of the underlayment with the spec sheet for that product. Providing your sample meets the requirements we then give you the approval to purchase. Finally when you supply us with a copy of your invoice showing the agreed materials we will grant you the final approval. We have to know the Feild Impact Insulation Class (FIIC) rating before we can approve it. It has to be equal to or greater than FIIC62
These steps are important to ensure that noise levels between floors are minimized.

A: We do not have any extra parking stalls or storage lockers for rent. Keep your eyes on the bulletin board at both buildings for people who offer to rent theirs or post your own inquiry
