The enclosed Rules and policies have been adopted by your Strata Council to better enable residents to live in harmony using common sense and consideration for others. As a resident, it is extremely important that you read, understand and comply with the Rules and Bylaws of the Strata Corporation. In addition, residents are also responsible for their guests and visitors, and must ensure that they also adhere to the Rules and Bylaws of the Strata Corporation. Should there be any discrepancies between these Rules and the agreed upon set of Bylaws, the Bylaws will be deemed as correct.
Renaissance Towers Parking Bylaw #47
- No resident is permitted to park in Visitor’s Parking Stall at all times.
- Visitor’s parking stall is reserved for the use of visitors while visiting residents.
- Vehicles parked in visitor’s stall must display a valid Parking Pass with resident’s unit number clearly visible (Temporary or Permanent Passes).
- Visitor’s vehicle is permitted to park in the visitor’s stall up to a maximum of 48 hours a week
(any 7 days duration).
A. Permanent Visitor’s Parking Pass
- Each unit has been issued two visitor parking passes.
- No additional free visitor parking passes will be issued.
- Torn visitor parking passes may be replaced and a processing fee of
$5 applies and as long as the majority portion of the torn pass is returned.
- If the need arises where additional pass (more than the original two passes) is requested, a processing fee of
$50 each.
Temporary Parking Pass
- Resident is not permitted to park in the visitor stalls by using a Temporary Parking Pass.
- Temporary Parking Pass may be requested from the building caretaker when more than two visitors are visiting the resident at the same time.
- Temporary Parking Pass may be issued to the third visitor or more and is valid up to a maximum of 72 hours a week (any 7 days duration).
- A Temporary Parking Pass must display the expiry date with the resident’s unit number clearly visible.
- If a parking pass is requested for more than two days, it may be issued by the building caretaker for up to one week if the requested is justified.
- If more than one week of pass is requested, advise owner to deliver a written request to council outlining the reason for the extended period.
- A Temporary Parking Pass is invalid once expired.
B. Large Number of Temporary Parking Passes Required for Event (Birthday, Showers, etc.)
- Resident must advise the Building Caretaker of such event and may request a number of
“Temporary Passes” for use on the event date (all normal parking rules apply).
NON-COMPLIANCE OF THESE RULES ARE SUBJECT TO
FINES BEING LEVIED AS ALLOWED BY THE
STRATA CORPORATION’S BYLAWS, SECTION 125.
